This spring I went through my Mom's seed collection. She was a master gardner and loved saving seeds. I found an envelope containing seeds from squash she had used for decoration on her Thanksgiving table. She wasn't sure if they would germinate, so I thought I'd give them a try. I planted the seeds in my garden and now I have huge plants that have colorful squash hanging from them. My favorite is the green one. I also have a bright orange one. I don't know if they will last until Thanksgiving, but it is nice to have a little something that my Mom loved in my garden.

It's almost as if she "planted the seeds" for you to find and gave you the information on purpose.
Kinda made me cry when I read this. How awesome.
That is so cool!
