We had a nice gentleman cut some of our geodes. He was only able to cut the two biggest ones. One of them was a double geode. It has beautiful diamond shaped crystals on the inside that catch the light. It's amazing that such beauty is inside a plain looking rock (although I really like all of the different colors on the outside).
I think we know a little better what to look for next time we go digging for geodes. The biggest one we found ended up not being a geode at all, it was a solid rock, but it's still pretty on the inside.
