I am not a big fan of winter. I don't like being cold and I really don't like to shovel snow, or drive in it.
Since we are pretty much in the heart of winter, I decided that I needed something to bring a little bit of life into the house. Last year I got my first orchid and I loved the blooms. It hasn't bloomed again this year, so last week I bought another one. It has beautiful blooms and it has quite a few buds getting ready to bloom. It should be blooming for at least another month, just enough to see me through the coldest days of winter.
